Handle tensioners, also known as ratchet tractors, are used as tensioning wires in overhead line installation facilities. When using the tensioner device, first loosen the wire rope or galvanized wire on the wire tightener, fix it on the cross arm, clamp the wire with a clip, and then pull the special wrench. Due to the anti-reverse effect of the pawl, the wire rope or galvanized iron wire gradually wraps around the ratchet roller to tighten the metal wire. The tightened wire is secured to the insulator. Then loosen the pawl to release the wire rope or galvanized iron wire, then loosen the wire clip and wind the wire rope or galvanized iron wire on the ratchet roller.
